Greetings J-NIC Video Staff Members!
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Happy 20th Anniversary! Yes, it's finally here--we've been around for 20 years, so much has happened, we've been through a lot, survived our first 20 years...it all began in November 1994 when our financial advisor heard about International Video Yearbooks in Nashville, TN; our former VP Nicole Young and I bought a franchise in it, began building our company...the rest is history. Watch our first project on our home page to see how we got started and how far we've come. We're thinking of getting back into video yearbooks, let us know what you think. We hope everyone had a great holiday, enjoyed the nice December weather--even better than last year, hardly any snow and the temps were just right! Be sure to send pix of the family enjoying the festivities, always great to see everyone having fun. To celebrate this anniversary year, we have a special flyer attached thanking everyone for their service and support, which we'll be sending to past and present clients and staff, plus posting a special message on Facebook. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. The video production industry certainly has changed dramatically over time, we're very glad we could be a part of it, see how: View on jnicvideo.weebly.com Preview by Yahoo Now that 2014 is over, it's time to think ahead to the new video technology and trends...we like to stick to the basics, but are open to trying new things, specifically tapeless acquisition and recording, the new 4K and Blu-ray discs...we'll see what happens in the next 12 months. DVD and MiniDV aren't going anywhere soon, we've had success with both and plan to for years to come. The Michigan Warriors are doing great, had some really good games last month--more close ones; the highlight of the year was the Flint Generals Alumni vs. the Genesee County All-Stars...great crowd, great game, great to see the classic players back in town. Copies of the DVD are now available, pass it on! Let's keep cheering the Warriors onto victory...and to a Robertson Cup Championship! The Generals Alumni is planning another game with the Detroit Red Wings Alumni, we're in talks for filming that game. You may have read about a USHL team possibly coming to Flint, along with a new look for Perani Arena...we'll keep you posted with further updates. In the meantime, our schedule for this month: ________________________________________________________________________ 1. Michigan Warriors vs. Janesville, Friday, January 9th, 7pm 2. Stay tuned for details and have a great start to the New Year, let's keep remembering to give thanks for the good things in our lives, be aware of those less fortunate than we, and above all, the reason for the holidays.
